Community Social Services: Strike vote meetings continue; invitation to telephone town hall meeting June 19

Community Social Services members represented by CUPE are continuing to participate across the province at multi-union information and strike vote meetings. A complete list of strike vote meetings this week is attached

We are also excited to announce that on Tuesday, June 19th, Community Social Services members from all unions are invited to participate in a telephone town hall meeting on starting at 7pm.

You will be able to listen to a presentation on bargaining, and have opportunities to ask questions of the town hall host. Experts will be on the line to address your questions. You’ll be joining 15,000 other community social services professionals from across BC, represented by ten unions.

How to participate in the telephone town hall:

Option 1:  On the evening of June 19, your phone will ring at approximately 7pm. If you wish to participate, please pick up the phone and stay on the line.

Option 2: If your phone doesn’t ring you can email [email protected] . We will be also posting call support info on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/groups/css.bc/) and twitter at @cssfairdeal.

You should call by 7:05 to catch the beginning of the meeting, but you can join at any point.

If you have trouble connecting, or if you are disconnected, please email [email protected] for immediate assistance to rejoin the call.
